My journey with photography starts when I got my first camera, a turquoise Canon point and shoot, making me quite an excited 10-year-old. I haven’t stopped taking photos since. I began sports photography for my high school in 2015 and have enjoyed landscape and portrait photography for as long as I can remember.
I have experience in portrait, landscape, and sports photography. I have been blessed with many incredible opportunities, doing work for camps, churches, families, senior photos, engagements, and weddings. I worked at Spring Arbor University, where I attended college, as a sports photographer for 4 years and loved every minute of it.
My goal is to make photography appeal to others, as it has appealed to me. I capture pictures, but pictures also have a way of capturing me. Photos are so valuable, and it is a privilege to be able to share the value of photography with others, creating a way for people to never forget life’s precious moments.
I pray that through the gift of photography people would not only see a picture, but they would also see the God that made them and loves them. That a picture of the sky or a person’s smile would point back to the magnitude and beauty of the Creator we serve and remind them that He sees, knows, and loves them more than anything.
